What is Digital Design?
Digital design is a creative process of identifying and graphing out the emotions of what can be seen and heard, and presenting them on digital platforms. There are various tools and skills to be applied in digital design. Digital design consists of three major roles; web designing, UX designer and UI designer. Here’s a deeper insight on the three designer jobs:
Web Designing

Digital designers mostly specialize in web design. Everything that has to do with website and mobile phone layouts is done by digital designers. A website designer creates website pages, modifies the website to fit different mobile phone screens and codes the same websites and phone applications to enable the use of computer languages.
UX Designing

This is a type of digital designing that is more focused on user experience. A UX designer creates programs that are user-friendly for digital audience and continuously strives to improve them. The efforts to ensure a user is satisfied with a product is mostly done through research of the customer reviews via mobile apps and websites. Most applications and websites have surveys created by the UX digital designers all aimed at improving customer experiences.
UI Designing

UI is an abbreviation for User Interface which means a visual layout of a digital application. It includes designing layout of screen and animations. UI designers are more akin to graphic designers, they mostly specialize in making sure the User Interface is visually appealing to users and that the theme helps achieving the purpose of the app. It is the work of the UI designer to implement the research done by UX designer to coincide with user interactions.
Conclusion

Designing has evolved and embraced the digital trend. Digital designing is an involving process that takes a lot of planning to bring out a good design that will impress the users. However, it is worth the toil.
